The 8th of October was the day on which we went out into the mission field to spread the good news of the gospel.

This day was a marker day for me because I overcame many things that prevented me from spreading the gospel to unsaved people. I was in the car with Caitlin, Jess, and Diane, and the conversations we had in the car already set me at ease concerning the day that was ahead of us. When we arrived in Diepsloot, I immediately recognized that this town was something that not a lot of people are used to seeing on a daily basis. 

As we walked up from the church to the “town”, I went with Bradley, Tannie Liezl, and Oom LeRoux. We saw a group of men working on an old car, and Tannie Liezl immediately got attracted to them. 

Bill shared with us that you should always be led to speak to the leader in the group, and Holy Spirit immediately helped us to “pinpoint” the leader. As we finished speaking to him, one of the men in the back made eye contact with me, and invited me to come and pray for him. As Bradley and I finished praying for him, one of his other friends also called us to come and pray for his family and his life in general. It was a precious thing for me to see how Holy Spirit works in the hearts of people, and how people get attracted to Jesus when they see the power that’s made available to them in prayer!

One encounter that I had was with a lady named Suzan. On this day she accepted Jesus into her heart. When I asked her if there is something that we could pray for her, she got SO excited, and we ended up praying for every one of her family members! 

God did miracles on this day, and He has really set the standard for me to keep on telling people about the love that Jesus has for them!

New Fire for God, and a new Desire for Him! 

Sunday 9 October Bill invited us to enjoy a new relationship with God. This was a very special day for me, and the anointing that he carried over to me is continually working in my life!
