My name is Anke, and I was born in 2003 on the 19th of September in Witbank. I have wonderful parents (Gerhard and Hilda) and have one sister and three half- brothers. We are one big family that really enjoys the presence of one another, and would do anything to have a BIG dinner together.

We joined the Heritage of Faith congregation in 2010 and have been excited for every Sunday to get to Church!

I attended primary school in “Laerskool Talfees”, and completed high school in “Hoër Tegniese Skool Witbank”. I LOVED high school. (Such a weird thing for someone to say right..) But I really did! At that time I thought that I had made the bestest friends that I could’ve ever made, and that is 100% why I found school so enjoyable- I enjoyed my friends!

I’ve always been a girl that enjoyed sport, therefore my sport of choice was hockey- because it was a sport I played with my friends 🙂 I did some athletics too- started with hurdles and the 100m sprint in Grade 8 and ended up doing shotput in Matric haha.

As a little girl, I really loved church. It has always been a place where I wanted to be, and I still remember how I’d get frustrated when family members would invite us to spend time with them on weekends, which would eventually end up in us missing a church service. I remember how I have always wanted to serve in the church somehow. And I think that because of this, I never made any plans on what I should pursue after school. In my 11th grade of school, the Covid-19 pandemic broke out, and that took away school for a year. This also contributed to me not making a decision in what I should study or do after school.

In my 11th grade I already heared the “I will take the children” messages, and that made it quite clear to me that I should follow the plan of God for my life, because He birthed me into the earth with a purpose! So, after this I knew that I was going to be part of the MiXchangers after I’d finished school, and I didn’t ask any further questions about it.

So that’s me, 2022 Xchanger. Lover of the Almighty, Living God, expectant and excited of all the places He will take me!
