Big Rock Moments

One thing that was really precious to me was the encounters that I had with God. Footsteps to Destiny really encouraged my faith in God, my relationship with Him, and the relationships I have with others. I had a few moments on F2D that I always want to remember so that’s why I am not journaling about one big rock moment, but all of them! 🙂

ACCOUNTABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY:

I make the declaration that I am accountable to everyone on the Body. I take up my responsibility to really, really press for God and to go for Him, and not look back to the things that I could have had in the World. I am excited to press for God! I want to experience new things with God. I shift my focus from the things of the world, and from the pull that the world made on me, and I set my mind, I set my focus on the things that God wants for me!

This encounter changed my life, and God is taking me for Himself. To that, I say, “Yes, Lord!”

– Ps John prayed me into MiXchange 20 years ago:

On our first night in Mapesu, we had a conversation with Ps John, and I will never forget when he said to us in a very audible voice, “I prayed for this!” Pastor John had been praying for MiXchange to come to pass for 20 years.

A few days after Ps. John said this, Holy Spirit revealed to me that I am 18 years old, turning 19. He showed me that my Spiritual leader who God has predestined me to follow had been praying for me and my future even before I had been born!

Tarryn and Simon in the car talking about relationships:

On our way to Merry Pebbles, we had some wonderful and holy conversations with Tarryn and Simon. We were probably 6 kilometers away from our destination, and Simon just started to talk about assignments and distractions. He said that we should be focused on our assignments that God has given to us, and not chase after relationships. When we seek God first, He will add unto us the things and the relationships we desire. I really cherish this conversation that we had in the car because it really felt to me as if a father was looking out for His daughter by making her aware of the things that are going on around her. The Spirit of God was in the car that day, and I encountered Him!

– Encounter with God in Manyeleti:

Oh boy, you know when you are encountering God. No one can convince you otherwise. Your heart beats two times faster than usual, you break out in a little sweat, and you just know that you need to be obedient at that moment to speak the words that Holy Spirit shows you to speak. I had that encounter with God in Mayeleti. We were sitting in a hanger, and I knew I had to speak this;
