In the second week of joining MiXchange, Pastor John and Sharon took us to the beautiful, in my case a hidden Gem: Clarens! 

This was a trip of many firsts for me including:

• Setting up a campsite 
• Sleeping in a tent for a WEEK
• Sleeping in a tent in the middle of a rainstorm
• Sitting on the most uncomfortable chairs in my entire life :0 
• Riding a bike on the toughest terrain and over the highest mountains ever! 

On this trip I learned so many things spiritually and relationally. I learned that I will be okay to be without seeing my mom for more than a week. I learned that God loves it when you sing to Him in the Spirit. I learned that you need to be able to endure many spiritual and physical activities. I learned that when Simon says you have an hour to shop, he actually means 45 minutes…
