What I experienced personally
During this conference with Brother Jerry, I just experienced God’s sweet love and thick presence. When we started the conference on Thursday night (which was the graduation), we had the wonderful privilege of listening to Brother Joe minister to us. From that first night, the peace of God really rested on all of us, and I could sense that the Lord had big things planned for the rest of the conference.
Saturday, the 4th of February was truly a marker- day for me.
When we went to Mooikrans for our orientation week, Ps John told us that we can encounter God when we make a heart-decision to encounter Him. You need to make a choice in the moment you want to encounter God, and then you should focus on Him, rather than the environment around you. You should yield to Him completely, and have no care about what the people around you will think when you are having your special moment with God. That is exactly what I did on Saturday.

During the afternoon sessions’ Sound and Song, I just said to the Lord,” Lord, I really want to encounter You now, ” and I could feel God’s warm touch on my heart! It was such a beautiful moment to be with Him, and I recognize that He wants you to encounter Him as much as you want to encounter Him!
